The Yokosuka D4Y3 was a Japanese dive bomber used by the Imperial Navy during World War II, serving primarily from 1943 onwards and known for its speed and maneuverability in combat operations. The aircraft gained particular notoriety for being extensively used in kamikaze attacks during the final years of the war, especially during the Battle of Okinawa in 1945.
