The Turán I was a Soviet medium tank produced from 1941-1943 that saw extensive service in the Hungarian Army during World War II, known for its relatively advanced armor protection and reliability compared to other contemporary tanks. It became one of Hungary's primary tank assets and is remembered as a significant example of interwar Hungarian tank design adapted for combat on the Eastern Front.
