The T31 was an experimental American tank destroyer developed during World War II, designed to breach fortifications and obstacles through its powerful demolition charge capability rather than conventional firepower. Though innovative in concept, it saw limited practical use and was eventually superseded by more conventional tank designs before seeing significant combat deployment.
