The T18E1 Boarhound was an American tank destroyer developed during World War II that featured a 90mm gun mounted on a modified M26 Pershing chassis, designed to provide increased anti-tank firepower against heavily armored German vehicles in the final stages of the European campaign. Though production examples saw limited combat use before the war's end in 1945, it represented a significant advancement in American tank destroyer capability and influenced post-war American tank design.
