The SU-85 was a Soviet tank destroyer produced from 1943-1944, featuring an 85mm gun mounted in a fixed superstructure and widely used during the final stages of World War II for its powerful anti-tank capabilities. It is primarily remembered as an effective counter to German heavy tanks and served as the predecessor to the more famous SU-100.
