The Stuart M5A1 was a light tank used primarily by the United States during World War II, serving from 1943 onwards as a reconnaissance and infantry support vehicle known for its speed, reliability, and widespread deployment across both the European and Pacific theaters. Despite being outgunned by heavier enemy tanks, it remained a workhorse in American armored units throughout the war and saw continued service in subsequent conflicts.
