The Reggiane Re.2001 Falco II was an Italian fighter aircraft developed during World War II, first introduced in 1940 and seeing service primarily with the Italian Air Force through 1943. Known for its relatively high speed and maneuverability compared to earlier Italian fighters, the Re.2001 was powered by an Alfa Romeo engine and armed with machine guns and cannons, representing a significant advancement in Italian fighter design before the country's armistice with the Allies.
