The Pak 40 was a German 75mm anti-tank gun widely used from 1941 onwards during World War II, serving as one of the Wehrmacht's primary anti-tank weapons and becoming the basis for numerous self-propelled gun variants. It was renowned for its effectiveness against Allied armor and its reliability, remaining in service through the war's end and into the post-war era with various nations.
