The Pak 40 auf Ruspenschlepper Ost was a German self-propelled anti-tank gun developed during World War II, combining the highly effective 7.5 cm Pak 40 anti-tank cannon mounted on a Soviet-captured artillery tractor chassis to create mobile anti-tank support. This improvised vehicle saw limited service on the Eastern Front from 1943 onward and is notable for representing German efforts to repurpose captured Soviet equipment when domestic resources became scarce.
