The F-5E Tiger II was a lightweight, supersonic fighter jet developed by Northrop in the 1970s and widely exported to allied nations during the Cold War, becoming one of the most produced supersonic aircraft and serving extensively in air forces across Asia, Latin America, and the Middle East. Known for its simplicity, reliability, and cost-effectiveness, the F-5E saw combat service in numerous conflicts including the Vietnam War and remains in operation with some air forces today.
