The B-25 Mitchell was a twin-engine medium bomber used by the United States and Allied forces during World War II, serving from 1941 onwards and becoming one of the war's most versatile and widely-produced aircraft. It gained particular fame for its role in the 1942 Doolittle Raid on Tokyo and its effectiveness in both European and Pacific theaters, known for its durability, defensive armament, and ability to carry various bomb loads and configurations.
