The Nebelwerfer 41 was a German six-barreled rocket launcher deployed from 1941 onwards, primarily used during World War II for laying smoke screens and chemical weapons, though it became known for its devastating multi-rocket barrage capability against infantry and fortifications. The distinctive sound of its volleys earned it the nickname "Screaming Meemie" among Allied soldiers.
