The Nakajima B6N Tenzan (Allied reporting name "Jill") was a Japanese carrier-based torpedo bomber that entered service in 1943 and served throughout the Pacific War until Japan's surrender in 1945, becoming one of the Imperial Navy's primary anti-ship aircraft despite arriving too late to significantly impact the war's outcome. It is remembered for its improved performance over its predecessor, the B5N, though it faced increasing Allied air superiority during its operational years.
