The Mitsubishi J4M1 Senden was an experimental Japanese naval reconnaissance floatplane developed during World War II, designed to operate from catapults on warships with exceptional speed and altitude capabilities to conduct long-range maritime patrol missions. Only a handful were produced before the war's end in 1945, making it one of Japan's lesser-known but technically advanced aircraft designs of the conflict.
