The Mitsubishi G4M2, a Japanese twin-engine medium bomber used during World War II, was one of the Imperial Japanese Navy's primary long-range aircraft known for its exceptional range but vulnerability due to minimal armor protection. It served extensively in the Pacific Theater from 1942-1945 and gained historical notability as the aircraft that carried Admiral Yamamoto when he was shot down in 1943.
