The Mitsubishi G4M1, codenamed "Betty" by the Allies, was a Japanese naval bomber aircraft used extensively by the Imperial Japanese Navy during World War II from 1941 onward, known for its long range and use in devastating attacks including the sinking of Allied warships, though it was also notorious for its lack of armor protection and vulnerability to enemy fire.
