The Martin Maryland was an American reconnaissance aircraft used primarily by the United States Army Air Forces during World War II, known for its high speed, long-range capabilities, and role in gathering intelligence over enemy territory from 1941 onwards. It served with distinction in both the European and Pacific theaters, becoming one of the most successful photo-reconnaissance aircraft of the war.
