The Martin AM-1 Mauler was a single-engine attack aircraft developed by the United States during World War II and used primarily by the Marine Corps in the Pacific theater from 1948 onwards, known for its heavy firepower and robust design for close air support missions. The aircraft saw limited service due to the jet age transition and was eventually phased out in the early 1950s, but remained notable for its innovative features and powerful armament configuration.
