The Mark IV Hermaphrodite was a British tank variant of World War I (1916-1918) equipped with both machine guns and a 6-pounder cannon, designed to provide flexible firepower support during trench warfare and combined arms operations. This configuration was one of several armament options tested on the Mark IV chassis to maximize combat effectiveness in the evolving battlefield conditions of the Western Front.
