The M52 was a self-propelled howitzer developed by the United States in the early 1950s, featuring a 105mm gun mounted on a tracked chassis, and saw extensive service during the Korean War and subsequent decades as a mobile artillery platform for rapidly deployable fire support. It became known for its reliability and firepower, serving as a standard divisional artillery piece for NATO forces throughout the Cold War era.
