The M3 GMC was a half-ton truck produced by General Motors during World War II, widely used by the U.S. military and Allied forces for transport and cargo duties from 1942 onward. The winch variant was equipped with a mechanical winch system for recovery and towing operations, becoming one of the most versatile and produced vehicles of the war.
