The M11/39 was an Italian light tank produced from 1939-1941, notable as one of the first tanks Italy manufactured domestically and widely used during the North African and Balkan campaigns of World War II. It was known for its relatively weak armor and armament compared to contemporary tanks, making it vulnerable in direct combat despite its mobility and reliability.
