The Latécoère 298 was a French reconnaissance and torpedo-bomber aircraft developed in the 1930s and used by the French Navy during World War II, notable for its twin-float design that enabled operations from water bases and warships. The aircraft saw limited service before France's fall in 1940, with some variants continuing to operate under Vichy French control in the Mediterranean theater.
