The Komintern was a Soviet heavy tank developed in the late 1930s, featuring advanced armor protection and a 45mm gun, though it saw limited production and service during the early stages of World War II before being largely superseded by more capable designs. This experimental multi-turreted tank represented Soviet efforts to compete with heavy tank development of the era but proved impractical in combat conditions.
