The Kawasaki Ki-100-I was a Japanese fighter aircraft developed in 1945 during the final stages of World War II, created by converting earlier Ki-61 airframes with a more reliable radial engine when liquid-cooled engines became scarce. It is known for being one of Japan's last effective fighters of the war, offering improved performance and reliability compared to its predecessor despite arriving too late to significantly impact the conflict's outcome.
