The Kawanishi N1K2-J Shiden-Kai was a Japanese naval fighter aircraft developed during World War II that entered service in 1944 and became one of the most capable fighters in the Imperial Japanese Navy, known for its excellent maneuverability, speed, and powerful armament. It saw extensive action in the Pacific Theater during the final year of the war and is remembered as one of Japan's finest single-engine fighters.
