The Jagdpanther was a German tank destroyer produced from 1943-1945 that mounted an 88mm PaK 43 gun on a Panther tank chassis, making it one of the most formidable anti-tank weapons of World War II. It saw limited service on the Western and Eastern fronts, where it was feared for its powerful gun, thick frontal armor, and excellent mobility compared to other German tank destroyers.
