The IS-4 was a Soviet heavy tank developed in the late 1940s that featured thick armor and a 122mm gun, representing the pinnacle of Soviet heavy tank design during the early Cold War era. Though produced in limited numbers and seeing no combat, it was renowned for its heavily sloped armor and became a symbol of Soviet technological advancement in the post-World War II period.
