The IAR-37 was a Romanian single-engine fighter aircraft produced during World War II, serving with the Royal Romanian Air Force from 1939 onwards and known for its role in defending Romanian airspace against Soviet and Allied aircraft. The aircraft was notable for being one of Romania's domestically-designed fighters and saw combat throughout the war until Romania's armistice in 1944.
