The Horten Ho 229 was a German jet-powered flying wing fighter aircraft developed during World War II, notable for being one of the first operational aircraft designs incorporating stealth technology principles through its all-wing configuration and use of radar-absorbent materials. Only a handful of prototypes were completed in 1945 before the war ended, making it one of the most advanced and experimental German aircraft of the final stages of the conflict.
