The Hispano Hs-1112 Buchón was a Spanish-built fighter aircraft produced during and after World War II, powered by a Rolls-Royce Merlin engine as an alternative to the German Daimler-Benz engine used in the original Messerschmitt Bf 109. It served with the Spanish Air Force from 1943 through the 1950s and is particularly notable for being the last operational variant of the Bf 109 design, with several aircraft remaining in service longer than their German counterparts.
