The Henschel Hs-129 was a German ground-attack aircraft developed during World War II, specifically designed to destroy armored vehicles and tanks with its heavy cannon armament. Introduced in 1942 and used primarily on the Eastern Front, it became one of the most heavily armed aircraft of its era, though it suffered from underpowered engines and limited production due to competing aircraft priorities.
