The Henschel Hs 126 was a German reconnaissance and observation aircraft used from 1938 to 1945, serving the Luftwaffe with distinction for its excellent visibility, maneuverability, and ability to operate from unprepared airfields. It became one of the most widely used German reconnaissance aircraft of World War II, particularly valued for artillery spotting and front-line observation missions across multiple theaters of operation.
