The Heinkel He-112B was a German fighter aircraft developed in the mid-1930s that served as a competitor to the Messerschmitt Bf 109, seeing limited operational use primarily with export operators between 1938 and 1944. Known for its elliptical fuselage and superior maneuverability compared to its rival, the He-112B achieved modest success in service with Romanian, Hungarian, and Japanese forces but was largely overshadowed by the more widely adopted Bf 109.
