The Heinkel He-111H was a German twin-engine medium bomber widely used by the Luftwaffe during World War II, serving from 1939 onwards in bombing campaigns against Britain, the Soviet Union, and other Allied targets. It became one of the most famous and heavily produced German bombers of the war, known for its distinctive elliptical fuselage and role as a primary instrument in the Battle of Britain and subsequent European air campaigns.
