The Gun Carrier Mk.I was a British self-propelled gun developed during World War II, entering service in 1942 as an attempt to provide mobile anti-tank support by mounting a 2-pounder gun on a Universal Carrier chassis. It saw limited operational use due to its modest firepower and armor, but remains notable as one of Britain's early self-propelled gun designs.
