The Goodyear F2G Super Corsair was a late-World War II fighter aircraft variant featuring a powerful radial engine, produced in limited numbers between 1945-1946 primarily for carrier operations with the U.S. Navy. Known for its exceptional speed and climb rate, it represented one of the final and most advanced piston-engine fighter developments of the war, though saw minimal combat use before the war's conclusion.
