The Gloster Sea Gladiator was a British naval fighter aircraft used during World War II, serving primarily with the Royal Navy's Fleet Air Arm from 1939 onwards. It is historically significant for its role in the defense of Malta in 1940-1941, where a small number of aircraft famously held out against superior Axis forces during the island's siege.
