The Gendron-Somua AM-39 was a French armored car developed in the late 1930s, combining components from Gendron and Somua manufacturers, and saw limited service with French forces during the early stages of World War II before the fall of France in 1940. It was primarily known for its relatively modern design and versatility as a reconnaissance and liaison vehicle, though its production numbers remained modest compared to other contemporary armored cars.
