The Fokker F.VII was a high-wing monoplane transport aircraft produced in the Netherlands from 1924 onwards, widely used for passenger transport and long-distance record flights during the golden age of aviation in the 1920s and 1930s. The aircraft gained international fame through its use in several pioneering polar and transoceanic flights, most notably Richard Byrd's 1926 North Pole expedition and various other exploration missions.
