The Flakpanzer IV Ostwind was a German self-propelled anti-aircraft gun developed in 1944, mounting a 3.7 cm Flak 43 cannon on a Panzer IV tank chassis to provide mobile air defense against Allied aircraft. It saw limited service in the final year of World War II, becoming one of the most effective German anti-aircraft platforms of the war due to its firepower, mobility, and armor protection.
