The Flakpanzer Gepard was a self-propelled anti-aircraft gun developed by West Germany in the 1970s, mounting twin 35mm cannons on a Leopard 1 tank chassis and serving as the primary air defense system for NATO forces during the Cold War and beyond. It became renowned for its high rate of fire, advanced radar targeting system, and effectiveness against both aircraft and ground targets, remaining in service with numerous militaries into the 21st century.
