The Sturmgeschütz 75 (StuG 75) was a German self-propelled gun developed during World War II that mounted a 75mm gun on a tracked chassis, serving as both an anti-tank weapon and infantry support vehicle from 1943 onwards and becoming one of the most widely produced German armored fighting vehicles of the war. It is historically significant for its effectiveness, versatility, and role in demonstrating the German military's shift toward combining firepower and mobility in a relatively economical platform.
