The Curtiss-Wright CW-21B was a single-engine fighter aircraft developed by the United States in the late 1930s and used primarily by the Chinese Air Force during the Second Sino-Japanese War, known for its exceptional maneuverability and climb rate despite its modest power. Though produced in limited numbers, it gained recognition for its performance in combat over China from 1938 onwards and represented an important step in American fighter design evolution during the pre-World War II era.
