The Curtiss SOC Seagull was an American catapult-launched reconnaissance biplane used by the U.S. Navy from 1935 to 1945, known for its ability to operate from battleships and cruisers to perform spotting and observation missions. It became one of the most widely used naval reconnaissance aircraft of World War II, with over 400 examples built across various variants.
