The Chi-Ha was a medium tank used by the Imperial Japanese Army during World War II, serving as one of Japan's primary tank platforms from 1938 onwards and seeing extensive combat in China, Southeast Asia, and the Pacific Theater. It is notable for being one of Japan's most widely produced tanks, though it was ultimately outgunned by Allied armor and became increasingly obsolete as the war progressed.
