The Chi-Ha was a Japanese medium tank produced from 1938 onwards and served extensively throughout World War II in China, Southeast Asia, and the Pacific Theater, becoming one of the Imperial Japanese Army's most widely used tanks and known for its relatively advanced design for its era, though it faced increasing difficulties against Allied armor as the war progressed.
