The Carro Armato L35 was a light tank produced by Italy during the 1930s-1940s, serving as the primary armor vehicle for the Italian military throughout World War II in North Africa, the Balkans, and mainland Europe. Despite being mechanically reliable, it was lightly armored and armed, making it obsolete against more heavily equipped Allied tanks by the mid-war period.
