The Carden-Loyd was a British tracked vehicle produced in the late 1920s and early 1930s that pioneered the design of light tanks and armored vehicles, becoming one of the most influential interwar military vehicles due to its innovative suspension system and widespread international adoption. It served as a reconnaissance and infantry support vehicle with various nations' armed forces and became the basis for numerous tank designs throughout the 1930s.
