The BTR-40P was a Soviet 6-wheeled armored personnel carrier developed in the 1950s, widely used by Soviet and allied forces throughout the Cold War for reconnaissance, transport, and internal security missions. It became one of the most recognizable APCs of the era and saw extensive service across multiple continents due to its reliability and relatively simple design.
